Working in the educational genre, specifically, science fiction, Blayne Fox had an incredible opportunity to utilize her creativity in the short story, A World Within the Hollow, geared towards 5th graders. Our own Mark Collins clearly stretched his ‘fifteen minutes of fame” into thirty, with an excellent interview on, Charger and Co., a syndicated cable TV show. The host provided high praise for Mark and had all nine of his children’s books that he both illustrated and authored stacked high. We do! And so do the ingeniously delicious folks over at YASSO (see article in Forbes!)! Have you tasted their yummy Greek fro-yo bars? Inspired by two friends who met at snack time in Kindergarten, they make ice cream-like bars with good-for-you ingredients, less calories and amazing taste. YASSO, through Fortnight Creative, has been working with our own, Brave Union, to make the snazzy new 2019 packaging. THE SEACH FOR THE TRUTH

lllustrator Brian Call was asked to create a ‘courtroom artist’ style portrait of Dr. Carl Wigren. Wigren is an alumnus of the University of Washington, where he studied to become a forensic pathologist. The story is one of misfortune and great interest. A baby died, presenting with multiple broken bones, and the grieving parents were the likely perps. After an autopsy, Wigren discovered that the child had died of a rare brittle bone disease called osteogenesis imperfecta. His forensic work absolved the parents of a heinous crime, leaving them only to grieve their tragic loss. To see more truthful, powerful portraits and illustrations from Call, click HERE!

MYSTERIES OF MARTHA’S VINEYARD

The series is complete! One of Guidepost’s most successful series, Mysteries of Martha’s Vineyard, first launched in 2017. Feel free to judge these books by their covers, because each one has been illustrated by award-winning illustrator Greg Copeland. Every cover features the prominent and beautiful lighthouse. HISTORY MAKERS AFRO-AMERICAN 2019 CALENDAR

Illustrator Manuel Gutierrez, had the distinct pleasure of working with Philadelphia History Maker, George Beach, on the 2019 Annual Afro-American Historical Calendar. Beach started this important endeavor back in 1970, and has been producing a fully illustrated annual calendar ever since. CHARLIE’S HEART STORY

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) worked closely with illustrator Nathalie Beauvois, to make heart surgery for kids a lot less scary. Charlie’s Heart Story takes a little boy and walks through the process of what can happen, from that first appointment to a successful time in the operating room. Nathalie's whimsical children and brilliant color work help to take some of the fear our of what could be quite scary, no matter what your age. At Exodus Travel, responsible tourism is at the core of every adventure. For the new line-up of 2019-2020 journeys, illustrator Martina Crepulja graces the covers with her beautiful, enchanting and whimsical work. The ‘heart’ comes in as Martina will donate one-third of her earnings for this campaign to the Exodus Inspiration Project. This project allows for disadvantaged kids around the globe to travel on exciting treks within their homeland. “Travel is about learning about yourself and your place in the world,” Crepulja says. “Kids from challenging backgrounds need to understand that opportunities do exist for them.
