Illustrator Ian Dale recently completed the third book in the Nana’s Bookshelf series, All We Need Is a Little Practice. Author Antoinette Simmonds wrote another beautiful and heartwarming story from real-life moments. This book highlights the intergenerational bond that grows through a shared love of music. INTERNATIONAL HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY

It is the Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau on January 27th. On this day, named by the United Nations General Assembly as International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we make time to remember the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and the millions of other victims of persecution by the Nazi’s. Babi Wrobel had the amazing experience to illustrate a book about the life of the great master, Marc Chagall. In her research Babi learned how Chagall deeply touched her soul in so many kindred ways. He was a dreamy artist who wanted to awaken what was divine within each of us: love. He painted about the love he felt for his childhood, his hometown, his wife, his family, and his life. Just up from a long hibernation, RAINBOW BEAR is hungry and ready for an adventure. This fourth book in the series by authors Bill Martin Jr and Michael Sampson is deliciously and delightfully colorful. It is obvious how much fun Illustrator Nathalie Beauvois had creating the visuals. Great for the little ones on your holiday lists - they will want you to read them again and again!
