To quote illustrator, Simon Shaw: “Monsters are in my brain!” Cute ones, silly ones, crazy ones, and funny ones... the crazier the better. He believes there is no rhyme or reason to who they are or what they do - that somehow they are evolved from the randomness inside his cranium! He recommends not to try and understand them as they all just crave one thing - LOVE.
